Fanatec Ready2Race: 14 bundles on four bases, $539.99 to $2,429.93

Fanatec sells 14 Ready2Race bundles in the United States, from $539.99 to $2,429.93, and each one is a wheel base, a rim, and a pedal set in a single SKU at a single price. Ten are built on the CSL DD, one on the GT DD Pro, one on the ClubSport DD, and two on the ClubSport DD+. Every figure below was read off Fanatec’s own listings on 28 July 2026, on its US store unless a line names another, and the two facts the base reviews cannot give you are which console a given box reaches and how many pedals are in it.

Fanatec publishes no definition of “Ready2Race” in the copy of any of these listings. The closest it comes is the page metadata of its Steering Wheel & Pedal Bundles category, which describes the bundles as products that “include a wheel, Direct Drive base & pedals”, and all 14 do.

The four bases under the line

Torque is quoted the way Fanatec quotes it, which is peak for the CSL DD and the GT DD Pro and holding for the ClubSport pair. Fanatec publishes no peak figure for either ClubSport base. Base prices are the standalone listings, checked 28 July 2026.

The 14 bundles and what ships in each box

Contents are Fanatec’s own “Bundle Contents” list, item for item. “Original price” is Fanatec’s figure on the listing, shown beside the current price, and “Not shown” means the listing carries none. Fanatec does not say what the original price is composed of, so it is quoted rather than derived.

On the CSL DD. Ten boxes, and the rim splits them on platform. Fanatec lists the three holding a GT3 or WRC rim for PC and Xbox and the other seven for PC alone.

The GT3 8 Nm box is the only one of the fourteen that includes a table clamp. Every other bundle on this page mounts to a desk or a rig with hardware bought separately, which the mounting guide covers.

On the GT DD Pro. One box, and it is the only Ready2Race bundle under $1,000 that runs on a PlayStation.

That box and the CSL DD Vision GT bundle above it hold the same rim and the same pedals. The $190 between them buys the base, and with it the PlayStation license: Fanatec lists the CSL DD version as “compatible with Windows PC only.”

On the ClubSport DD. One box, and it is the only place the ClubSport DD appears in the Ready2Race line.

Seven items, three of which are controls the CSL DD and GT DD Pro boxes never carry: the ClubSport Shifter SQ V1.5, the ClubSport Handbrake V2, and the Podium Button Module Rally. Only the ClubSport DD+ Drift bundle below carries the shifter and the handbrake as well, and the button module appears nowhere else in the line. That takes the Rally box past a wheel-and-pedal bundle into a full rally control set, and shifters and handbrakes cover what each one does.

On the ClubSport DD+. Two boxes, $899.96 apart, and the only Ready2Race bundles built on an 18 Nm base.

The Drift bundle was the only one of the fourteen out of stock on 28 July 2026. Its buy box read “Out of stock” with no add-to-cart button, and its ClubSport Wheel Rim Drift line carried “Expected availability: 08/10/2026”. The other thirteen took orders that day. The GT3 box is the only one Fanatec lists for all three platforms at once, because the base carries the PlayStation license and the CSL Steering Wheel GT3 carries the Xbox one. At 18 Nm both need a rig that will hold them, which rig stability covers.

Nine of the fourteen boxes ship two pedals

The CSL Pedals are a two-pedal set. Fanatec titles that listing “CSL Pedals - Steel 2-Pedal Set, Hall-Effect” and says the Clutch Kit or the Load Cell Kit, both sold separately, is what “provides a third pedal”. Nine bundles ship the CSL Pedals and nothing that adds a clutch.

The two that carry the Load Cell Kit are the F1 Esports Premium 8 Nm and the GT3 8 Nm. The three on ClubSport Pedals V3 are the Rally bundle and both ClubSport DD+ bundles. If you want a third pedal in the box, that is 5 of the 14, and pedals explains why the load cell matters more than the clutch for most drivers.

The base decides PlayStation and the rim decides Xbox

Fanatec’s CSL DD listing states that the base “is not compatible with any PlayStation® console and cannot be upgraded to achieve compatibility”, and its ClubSport DD listing states the same about that base. Both say they become Xbox-compatible “when used with any Fanatec Xbox-licensed steering wheel”. So a Ready2Race box reaches a console only when the right half of it is licensed, and the counts across the fourteen come out as follows.

Buying the cheapest box and adding a console rim later works on the hardware, since a rim swaps over the QR2 in seconds, but it is a second purchase at rim prices. The rims and quick release guide covers what that costs.

Watch-outs

Fanatec’s own metadata lags. The Rally bundle’s page title reads “ClubSport DD Ready2Race Rally Bundle (12 Nm)” while the product name on the same page reads 15 Nm, and the ClubSport DD+ GT3 bundle’s meta description says “15 Nm direct-drive torque” while its product name says 18 Nm. Both are the pre-firmware figures. The Special Notes on the Rally listing carry the correction in Fanatec’s own words: “Holding torque increased from 12 Nm to 15 Nm via firmware update (May 2026, version V1.4.2.3 or later).”

A sold-out listing settles nothing. The ClubSport DD+ Drift bundle was out of stock on the day it was read, and the restock date Fanatec gives for its rim points at a supply gap rather than a discontinuation. Fanatec’s catalog states nothing about the lifecycle of any bundle on this page, so none is recorded here as current or discontinued.

Prices move, and so does the region. Eleven of the fourteen showed an original price above the current one on the day they were read, so most of these are sale prices rather than a standing figure. The gap is wider outside the United States: the same CSL DD 5 Nm bundle on the EU store showed €379.95 against an original price of €569.85 on 28 July 2026.

A base bought inside a bundle is the same base. Nothing in a Ready2Race SKU changes the hardware. The CSL DD, GT DD Pro, and ClubSport DD+ reviews describe exactly what is in these boxes.

What sits beside the Ready2Race line

Fanatec’s Steering Wheel & Pedal Bundles category held 17 listings on 28 July 2026: the 14 above, two Gran Turismo DD Pro packages at $799.99 and $919.99, and one more Ready2Race bundle built on a base outside the four, the ClubSport Racing Wheel F1 + CSL Elite V2 Ready2Race Bundle (18 Nm) at $1,549.99.

The two Gran Turismo DD Pro packages, SKUs CRD-9020007-US and CRD-9020007-8NM-US, are a base, a rim, and pedals in one box the way the fourteen are. Fanatec’s “What’s Included” on both lists a “Steering wheel for Gran Turismo DD Pro”, “Pedals for Gran Turismo DD Pro (two-pedal set)”, and a table clamp. They sit outside the count here for one reason: Fanatec does not name them Ready2Race, and 15 of the 17 listings in that category carry the word. The GT DD Pro wheel base on its own is a separate SKU, CRD-9020006-US at $599.99, with no rim and no pedals in the box.

One further listing carries r2r in its SKU and ready2race in its URL while its name no longer does: the CSL Cockpit P1 V2 Bundle (5 Nm) at $1,159.95, a cockpit bundle listed as out of stock on 28 July 2026.

Steering Wheel & Pedal Bundles is one of three children of Fanatec’s Sim Racing Bundles category, and the sibling that stops one item short of these boxes is Racing Wheels: a base and a rim with no pedals, two listings at $1,219.99 regular, covered on the Fanatec Racing Wheels page. No SKU sits in both categories.

Alternatives to consider

• Moza R5 at $599, a base, wheel, and pedals in one box against the $539.99 CSL DD bundle.
